There is Hope on Good Friday

Hope.

Hope is needed when circumstances look bleak.

Hope is fuel to persevering under pressure.

Hope keeps the faith alive when there’s nothing left to grab onto.

Hope triumphs over negativity when the walls of your world seem to be crumbling all around you. When you don’t have the answers, hope is all you have.

Over 2,000 years ago, the true essence of hope revealed itself. The Son of God became man so that mankind’s sin could be dealt with. While the day is filled with sorrow, it is considered ‘Good Friday’ since our selfishness, sin, & self-sabotaging nature can be dealt with. Christ conquered death so we can live- eternally in heaven, purposefully on Earth.

My hope for you is that Christ reveals Himself to you – whether for the 1st time or 1,000th time. That His Presence will cause you to look past the problem in front of you and towards the Father above you. My God has “plans to give you a hope & a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Whatever that may be for you, “put your hope in Lord, for you will have renewed strength. You will soar on wings like the eagles; you will run & not grow weary, you will walk and not grow faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

Hope in Christ and what He will dolook at what He already did for you!

What do we do until then?

We wait in hopeful anticipation until Sunday…

“But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.” – Psalm 39:7

Blessings in Jesus’ Name,

Pastor Nathan
